They are definitely different. I believe the large ones are M5 x 0.75 (as someone already posted), the small ones are BA 3 (which is close but not quite to M4 x 0.75). The original knurled nuts are d

I just double-checked a TR3 ammeter, and a flat-glass TR4 oil gauge, they are definitely not quite 36 tpi. I still believe they are 3 BA (which my chart gives as .1614" major diameter, 34.8 tpi). Ran
