- I hope you don't think that means they aren't likely to fail. I actually think the older the ignition parts are the less prone they are to sudden unexpected failure. I like the ignition for this. As

- TR6? Was the tank near empty? If it happens again, open the tank cap. I'll bet it hisses. Vacuum build up in the fuel system which the pump can't overcome. Something is plugged in the fuel emissions/
