Folks I'm trying to trial fit my door hinges. I notice that the upper hinge has 3 1/4-BSF screws....Two of them go all the way through the pillar but the other is a blind hole. A dirt dauber has fill

Thanks to all who responded, its almost 100% that the blind hole was a wood screw and a good guess by Sherwood Parker was that it was used to temporarily hold the door in place while the factory plac

When I rebuilt two different TD's I added a 1/8" by 1" strip, about 8", of flat iron where the hinge bolts go. You can easily put one in the door while the upholstery is off. For the one on the hing
