- My valve cover gasket was leaking so I decided while waiting for the replacement to arrive in the lil brown truck, I would clean up the valve cover. It seems as tho the color as shown in "Original MG

- My guess, Larry, is that a previous owner sandblasted the valve cover and painted it nicely. All factory XPAG & XPEG valve covers were, indeed, painted silver. Lawrie British Sportscar Center me?

- Hi Lawrie, Yes you could be correct in what you say. My own experience with TD/TFs goes back only 10 years and the comments I made re.rocker cover colour were quoted directly from Clausagers " Origin

- Yes, that little bracket, which mounts to the innermost of those two bolts, is what the throttle return spring attaches to on both TD & TF. Cheers, Lawrie with principal. and
