Folks, thanks to all that replied...it turns out to be 3/4" x 16tpi.....weird when nearly all other bolts on the TF are BSF. Also, I spent two hours upside down under the dash trying to start a 1/4"

The 16 tpi is not weird if you are a British auto engineer. On most of the older British cars there are several larger nuts with threads of 16 tpi. The thing that is weird is that the 16 threads wer
