I wonder if anyone knows whether a supercharger was ever offered for Triumph six-cylinder motors. I know that Judson sold them for 4-cylinder Triumphs (and MGs, etc.), and it seems like a supercharge

It seems to me that Superchargers would not be as good choice as a turbocharger on small engines, since they are spun by the power of the engine thus giving up a little HP in order to boost HP. Where

There were Judsons to be had to the Herald/Spitfire 1147 cc engine back in the stone age... Also Shorrock made supercharger sets for that type of engine. BUT - both types are rare, very rare to find
