Basically it means that if you want to run as a novice you have to run street tires, no matter the class you're running. -Sean specific

Street Prepared cars running in a Novice class must run "street tires." Your interpretation is correct. Only classes that permit slicks (as opposed to DOT race tires) allow for novice entries to use

Not really, no. They don't make street tires for some Mod and Prepared class cars, therefore they are excluded from the requirement. However, Prepared =! Street Prepared. They are two entirely differ

Nice try, but no. The entire Street Prepared category allows DOT-level race tires. This category was created in the early '80s, WAY before the modern "Street" classes were created. Josh class? cars"

I drove mine to work every day (40 miles round trip), then did adry run for towing it to Atwater on Sunday, which takes me out of "True Street" for this event. CHD (back to True Street after Atwater)
