- I had a '74 Spitfire that had a partial fuel line blockage. Whenever the car died, it too seemed like the ignition had been switched off. If I let the car sit for ten minutes, I could drive it again

- Nick, Get a glass fuel filter and put it up near the carb(s). I have done this on all my old cars (and a boat). When the car dies for no reason you can tell if you are pumping fuel. == Brian Borgsted
