- I have replaced just the trunnions as well. You will know when you install the new trunnion if there is wear on the vertical link threads.

- A visual examination of the threads on a vertical link give a very good indication if it is fit for further service. Rust spots are the starting point for cracks and eventual breakage. John Kipping -
