- I'm currently restoring my 1965 BJ8 and the original springs look pretty good to me. Since they are currently off the car should I go ahead and replace them or is it okay to re-use them? Dick Dick Lu

- Compare the "bend" in your rear springs with a new set. My BN4 rears (NOS) had done under 10000 miles when one broke a leaf. The modern replacements ride at least one inch higher. Regards Paul Longb

- Make sure you compare the springs, new or used, to each other whilst upside down on a level surface. You can be surprised at the difference, even in new ones. CB
