Well, I've just purchased a '79 Spit in need of minor repair to get it on the road. It will be a "rolling restoration", but at least I now have a driveable LBC while the TR6 restoration progresses...

I have a rollbar in my Mk1 Spit and except that the 1500 model seats don't recline because of the interference from the bar, there are no problems. The top goes on over the bar and I haven't even no

I absolutely agree with your point about the foam padding--what I wonder is whether it's even possible to properly pad a standard Spit rollbar without intruding on the space that's supposed to be occ

I too have a bar in my Spit, I agree with Joe on the seats. I have had no problems fitting in to the car and have never hit my head on it either. I do not have a pad installed at this time. Nick N.A.
