Patrick, If you want a good traction tire I would suggest a studded type. We use these here in the North West and they are real common. Easy to run on and speed does't count. Normally 55 mph is OK an

Chucks right, but being a more sensitive type, I'm trying the walnut tire. They use walnut chips instead of steel spikes. I'll be in the snow with them in two weeks and we'll see. David of the great
