Hi all! I was going to search the archieves, but I don't know what to search on. The car has to warm up and I have to use the choke at first so it doens't shut off. You'd think it be hot enough here

My guess is it is running too lean, you should not need to use a choke, especially in Phoenix! Most of the people I know with properly set carbs do not use the choke at all, many disconnect it. Mark

I would disagree. If you do not need a choke when the car is cold, you are running too rich. Most Roadsters are set too rich, as this is the condition that naturally occurs with wear in the needles/

Dan, I agree, he said he had to use the choke for it to run, therefore it is set lean. I think if the carbs are set right you should not need a choke at all in the summer months
