I did something bonehead that I thought that I would relate so others won't follow in my footsteps. The "acorn nuts" that hold the pivot for the passenger seats on TR-2's and 3's frequently seize up.

Did that myself, but I expected it. The studs were fairly rusty. I drilled holes through and brazed in the bolts I used as replacements. Came across new acorn nuts at Home Depot, but at the time, the

This will be my next project. At the moment when I make a sharp right turn, my seat rocks into the passenger side.

The Acorn nuts are very standard, 1/4X28 tpi (National fine.) You can get them at any hardware store, just about. Probably 25 cents each. James A. Ruffner
