Uh, right. A V4 did more or less replace the 3 cylinder engine in the Saab 96's and related cars. But that was a German Ford engine. The Stag V8, however, is closely related to the inline 4 ultimatel

I was told that a Saab 99 had half a Stag engine in it. By half a Stag engine, are we talking about a V4, or are we talking about the engine cut down its longitudinal axis so the Saab99 is an in-line
