- I'm rebuilding a pair of SU's and there is about 0.005" slop in the throttle shaft bushings. I haven't found a spec on the tolerance and don't want to have a vacuum leak problem. Does anyone know if

- .005 is not horrable but definatly pushing it. When I refurb them I end up with about .001. Have you carb dipped them ? Carbon collects around the throttle shaft and after a good cleaning it will be
