Roger, I had the SUs on my 67. Don't know what version (HS 4?) they were. But, you are correct. The float bowl tops are interchangagle. I once had a carb die on me so I only had 1 carb. I took a piec

I think the tops are interchangeable, as long as the fuel inlets go where you want them to. I really doubt that 1/16" of error in the fuel level would have any detectable effect on the operation. Con

Hi Chris, Unfortunately, there were no washers under the needle valve to remove. I ended up shaving a little of the plastic off the float where the needle valve hits it. I got it down to 3/16". So I
