I was in Home Depot this morning looking at their Campbell Hausfeld 25' retractable air hose reel, $50. I almost bought it, then thought I'd check the web and ask you Shoppers what you thought of it.

What size hose was in the HD one? I found that normally they stick smaller diameter hoses to keep the prices down. Also, can you add more than 25' of hose to the reel? Inch <ken.landaiche@nokia.com>

Interesting idea about adding hose to the reel. The hose diameter is 3/8", which I found to be pretty common in ones I could afford that were offered on the web. Ken What size hose was in the HD one?

most garage the (plus for <snip> I have a hose reel just like this one (although I paid more than $9.99 for it!). Note that it is entirely manual - it's not one of those automatic retraction types. H

I my case at least, you get a little more than the length of the reel. I have my reel mounted on the wall about 7 feet off the ground, and I have a 5 foot whip hose on the end to make it easy to grab
