The water choke on a Holley/Weber is quite reliable and effective. More so in fact then their electric choke. The electric choke turns off at a pre-set rate based on the resistor wire, not the engine

The Pierce intake manifold has 1/4" more offset than the Cannon intake. I sure would like to know why some people are able to use the Cannon without problems while others have dings in the hood where

I kinda suspect the motor mounts have a lot to do with it. As in how much is the engine sagging down on them, and how much is it able to twist around. The Pierce intake manifold has 1/4" more offset
