- The speedometer has been very noisy. Stopped working last week. I pulled the cable. Both ends look 'pretty square', not rounded or burred. So...the problem must be in the speedometer? Any suggestion

- I monkeyed around with mine a bit before getting things right. I would check the cable also, you can drive with it out, it shoul turn smooth, not rythmic or jerky when you go. I can work its way out

- I agree with the part about letting a pro fix it. You can have it rebuilt for a lot less than replacing it if you mess it up. Bill Lawrence
