Hello Listers, I have a question that I hope the wise ones of the list can answer for me. I have a 1980 Spitfire 1500 and when I am coasting (decelerating) I can hear a clicking and feel a slight vib

If it's a chattering teeth sound, from the outside I too have the same problem. Don't know what it is yet, I don't however think it's the half shafts, or UJ's, I believe it to be something to do with

Actually, if it's a chattering sound, it sounds a lot more like worn u-joints to me. Most noticeable while coasting, with the engine making less noise so you can hear it? U-joints, yep. Sometimes, th

I had a similar noise coming from the rear of my 78 Spit. I asked the local brit mechanic to check. He could find nothing. The noise was so worrisom, i began to check. I finally found that the bolts
