Which clip do you have? I'll assume for now you have the "E" clip. Two methods. Use a small vice grip in the center and push like hell (concave side toward the center of the axle). The other is the

If you get lucky, it's not too bad. I got lucky once, ever since then I go and buy the old style "JC clips" from a hardware store. Including the drive to the store, it's still quicker. The new E clip
