- Not difficult, but several steps: 1) Remove the cover plate over the shifter: 2 screws at front, the back edge interlocks with the console 2) Remove the main console: 4 screws inside the storage box

- Hi from Pgh. PA! On my 69 2000, the radio is easily accessed from the left (driver's) side of the radio console. Remove (about) 6 screws on the driver's side and the side panel of the console release

- It's been a while since I've done it (radio replacement) but I remember removing the center console, shifter plate as well as the choke cable. The knobs have little screws on them and are held tight
