- What is the correct RPM at idle for a '70 MGB GT? My mechanic has mine set at about 900 and that seems a little low to me. Thanks - Gary Davis

- Actually, 900 rpm is about right, though I agree it feels low. For emissions purposes it should stay that way, but... I kick mine up to about 1200-- that way I don't always feel like I'm about ready
