Dear List, I have a '63 Spitfire (Mk. I). The car does not have a choke cable. I ordered one and received it, but I am not sure it is correct. I was expecting a twin cable system like the one I have

Creig, I beleive (I'm not looking at the cars or manuals right now, so correct me SOLer's if I mess up...) that there is a shaft between the carbs that operates the chokes together, just as the throt

I have the opposite problem, I have a double choke cable, and only the rear carb is hooked up. It seems to work fine, and I haven't bothered to hook up the front carb to the choke. The cable just han

Jane, and Creig, Got to work this AM, so checked my Haynes manual for the Spit. On page 87, lower right corner picture shows cable well - the choke is the one closest to the airbox. Also on page 94,
