My '70 1600 is leaking from the spacer behind the water pump, and I've debated removing the spacer, replacing the pulleys on the water pump and crankshaft and relocating the alternator. At a minimum,

I bought a Flex-a-lite fan Model 120 which is only 2.25" thick and should fit. The shroud also covers the entire radiator which is good. You need to modify the brackets to mount it which is simple. M

I measured the 2 pullies and here's the dimensions: Single Double Diameter: 5.5" 4.5" Depth: 2 7/16 1 5/8 Pulley Belt Center: 2 1/8 1 3/8 Hope this helps. The early cars don't use the aluminum spacer
