Hello all! What's the correct idle speed for a Mk3 Spitfire? Anything less than 850-900 RPM causes my ignition warning indicator to come on. Thanks! Jeff

Jeff, Most of the manuals will say around 750 + or - 100 rpm. However, like you point out, below 850 the ign. light comes on. I usually set my cars to idle at 1,000 even. The ign. light will NOT come
