I have dynoed a lot of engines in my life and the only ones I ever made a big power increase is when I put them on the right plugs after trying my "modified firing order" LOL I have tested wires on t

So. I'm just as good cutting my own wires out of good old Packard 440 twisted metal core as I am spending $80 for a set of fancy red, yellow or blue brand, right? I know I asked about these wires a w

You said that not me... Why would you want to annoy everyone with a 100 ft distance or more if there is no performance benefit at all. Maybe some one else does have something they want to use that yo

As long as the quality of the materials and assembly are good, but some ignition systems do require a bit of HV wire resistance for optimum performance. I think Magnecore has the best ignition wire

The Kawasaki I had in Howard's first car used ALL stock electric's, including coils and wires. I planned to install performance ignition parts when the boost pressure started blowing out the spark. U

Well, here goes. I've got some experience with wire. Wire is wire. It'll carry what you ask it to carry, and any inherent resistance will follow Ohm's law for resistance vs. current vs. voltage drop.

One of the tasks of the plugwire resistance is to act as damping on the spark current oscillation. There is inductance and capacitance in the circuit, so when it's hit with a fast rise or fall- time

From the information I have, there is a wide variation in acceptable secondary wire resistance measurements between the different manufactures. Ford says less than 5000 ohms per inch, GM is under 15
