I have noticed that when I drive my car at the moment the temp. gauge is just over 'N' (I have a 190deg thermostat), and that's fine. When I stop the car however, maybe to go to a shope for 10 minut

I think that is normal. Although water cooled it does use air passing through the rad to cool the fluid and when you stop the engine heats up and when you begin to drive again this allows air to pass

My MGA has run hot for years but once I had the gauge checked it was 20 degrees off. Still in the middle of August in KY it is hot, hot, hot so I had been using a product called "Water Wetter" I have

OK...sorry, I just found this page. I live in an area where an MGA is akin to a Tucker...none about, and no one to ask silly questions to... Overheating in an MGA. 95 degree days here, and dry in AZ.
