Brian, The wires near the OD solenoid get cooked by radiant heat from the exhaust, and bathe in oil from the transmission. I'd check at these wires for an intermittent connection. Also look at the co

Brian, You might check the oil level in your transmission. The OD is pretty sensitive to oil level - if it is even a little low, the OD can operate eratically. The first time I filled my OD box from

David-- I will check the oil as you suggest. It gives not sign of loosing any, however, the slight seep alwasy present may add up over 15000 miles. FYI, an easy way to check and fill the trans oil is
