- Walt, I have yet to find a true octane booster. I understand most commercial brands only retard ignition thus fixing the pining problem. If you know of any let me know. Enrique

- In the UK the octane boosting lead replacement additives claim to raise it from 95 (standard unleaded) to 97 (leaded). PaulH.
