I'm trying to fix my non-functioning horn. It worked before parked for winter. Here's what I found out last night. The purple/yellow wire connected to the horn is good. The horns have a good ground.

you might try popping the button off the steering wheel, and checking the contacts for the brush. if corrosion gets in there, it breaks the circuit and stops the horn from 'tooting'. of course a quic

My relay was corroded internally. Looked good on the outside. I replaced it with a Bosch unit I got from an BMW at a Junkyard for $2. Also my spring contact in the steering wheel was pretty week. A s

If it was working before.... Probably corrosion on the slip ring under the steering wheel of on the contact plunger (my term) that connects the button to the ring. Try turning the wheel back and fort
