I, too, have a '72 MK IV (FK26439L), which is probably the wimpiest-engined Spitfire. I think this engine has 8:1 compression. What would have to be done to raise the compression to 9:1? Would the h

What would the effect of these various modes be on emissions testing? Here in NJ, they test just HC and CO at idle (although this might change in the near future). I suspect that increased compressio
