Yes, the Mx-5 and Miata are the same beast. Large Lotus Elan copy? Well I guess next to the family hauler/tow vehicle, the Miata has the most room for the two front passengers. -- Miq Millman miq@wv.

Yes. The official name in the USA is "Mazda MX-5 Miata", nearly everyone here just calls it a Miata, as the car seems to have too much personality for an alphabet-soup name.
