Depends on whether or not you trim some wood off the rear bulkhead mounted wheel spacer/hold down rod holder.

165R15 is the largest (or any old bias ply). the 165R15 is fine... I prefer to keep the wood block & rod in as it keeps the wheel from flopping around in the boot. Best Regards, Alan '53 BN1 '64 BJ8

Not all tires are made the same... for example my 165R15 Gillette radials are probably a good 1/2" wider in the tread than the old 165R15 Michelins I replaced them with on my BN1. Add to that maybe
