Finally getting a chance to do some "real" MG shopping. Tomorrow I'm going to check out a '72 MGB. Has a hard top, needs new soft top. Owner says transmission, clutch, engine & interior in good shap

The number one advice I would give anybody looking at an MG (or a Triumph) is to pull the splash panels out of the front fenders and look for rust in the sills. You can easily fix any mechanical prob
