65 ft-lbs. The value is actually in the factory (clymer) service manual, page 128 "Sectional View of the Front Axle and Disc Brake". Shown as 8-9 kg-m, this converts to about 58 to 65 ft-lbs. I use t

The tire stores are supposed to torque the lug nuts well below the specs with a gun and in a hex pattern. They should then use a break-away bar to torque the rest of the way. It's always best to use

Lug nut torque value for 1600/2000 is 8 to 9 kg-m (58-65 ft-lb). This torque value is actually hidden in the factory service manual between pages 128 and 129 (I'm not making this up!)in a figure lab

That's for steel wheels, aluminum wheels require different torque values. I use 60 - 70 lbs w/antiseize compound so my values are a bit higher as the antiseize overcomes the friction. The Miata's to
