I am assuming you are using rubber bushings. Those are designed to compress, however if you are reusing old ones, one or the other or both may be deformed or hardened. If so, consider a $10-20 upgra

I would think this is because you have all of the spring pressure aganst the top bushing and none of the weight of the car to counteract it. If it was even now,what would happen when you installed i
