- I happened upon a Spitfire Roadster at a local junkyard. It appears to be all there, much in need of restoration, but very little rust...hot dry, N.Cal. weather. It had a four cylinder Datsun engine

- That sounds like the engine from a Datsun 1600 ( Later called 2000). These were copies of a generic British 2 seat convertable. These had copies of SU carbs, Hatichi I think. They look the same but n
