I went to check my rear brakes this evening, and I noticed that one side definitely needed a rebuild. Besides leaking brake fluid, there was a fair amount of grease on everything, which had obviously

yes. it is hard. other listers have stated that the energy used to part a hub from an axle assembly was measured in 30+ TONS. and it let go with a bang! you may want to remvoe both axles and take 'em
