I noted in the Bob Sharp manual that they plug off all coolant flow to the intake manifold. Is this okay for street use. I know that the heater gets disconnected when doing this, but it was never muc

I wouldn't recommend doing that for the street. The heated intake manifold helps prevent fuel wetting on the intake walls. Admitted the heated air means something like 3% less performance, but does

Leave it. As said by Tom and John you need it on cool days and you need it on hot days when the exhaust header cooks the intake and the a/f actually keeps it cooler. It also aids in more constant per
