I have always believed that light colors for frames was best, so that cracks would be more easily visible when grease & dirt got in them.

Carroll Smith, in his "____ to Win" series of books, touts the Zynolyte line of "rattle-can" epoxy paint as the absolute best. I tried it and I totally agree. I seriously prefer it to powder coat 'c

Any particular reason why you use acrylic enamel rather than a lacquer? I thought lacquer was better at showing up cracks - since it is less flexible than enamels? Derek

Grey is handy, common, and hides some dirt. Grey is often used for shop machines and the likes. White is pretty, but dang hard to keep clean in a car, or the engine bay. Black is easier, but a bit ug

Thanks to all for the responses regarding interior color for race cars. I now know that the ligher colors better exhibit imperfections and, as Fitz's message, below reflects, everyone likes Zynolyte.
