Yes it does work, but there are better and cheaper places to get it. Try Lowes, they have a product called "Peel and Seal", which does the same thing at a fraction of the cost. -Shannon

Another thing to check is your heater valve to make sure it is closed all the way. Those pull cables get weak and bend and tweak. You can do it with your finger, just push it closed. Jim Farris
