If they are a deduction being "after-market", even if they are recognized as a period accessory, then what about the new distributor cap that I currently have. It has no "LUCAS" embossed on the top.

I was thinking the same thing, but I am concerned that the little spike that sticks into the wires will do more damage when I remove the wires from one can and install them on another cap! Right now
