I have been rewiring a '79 Spitfire and I am having a tough time with connection the Lucas ignition amp. The label on the unit is AB14 Electronic ignition Amplifier 47261A. I was wondering if any one

Roger, I'd try to hook the black and white straight to the solenoid...(It has a female end, right?) The white wire should go to the negative on thcoil. The other end of it obviously fit's into the di

Roger, I too have been having a rough time with the wiring on my 1980 Spitfire (also with a Lucas amplifier module). The dpo took some liberties with the wiring, but it has run okay for years despit
