Hi Listers, The capillary tubing that attaches to the temperature gauge in my TR3B is truly ugly. There's certainly a ton of surface rust, if not worse. Is it safe to put this in the blasting cabinet

Why don't you paint the tube with POR-15 and then paint or plasticoat it to whatever colour you would like? This way you won't damage the tube and will hopefully protect it against further deteriorat
