- I'm hunting for a new (used) helmet and don't have my new SIIR yet. What ratings are required on helmets used strictly for SOLO II? Last time I looked it was Snell M85, but that was a long time ago!

- The 1998 rule book (sure do wish the '99s were out!!!) states in section 4.3.A: "...All helmets meeting the current or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA or M) are acceptable."

- Seeing as the Snell stickers only have two-digit dates on them, I'd say we're all in trouble. Our helmets will all explode or implode on Dec. 31, 1999. Better not hold and event on that date. :-) -c.
