- I am looking for some advice: I believe that I have a worn/loose rear half-shaft...when I put the parking brake on, I can still rotate the rear left wheel about 1" in each direction and get a "clunk

- This is not a worn half shaft. Your problem is the a loose knock off or a wheel splines or splined hubs are worn. when you pull the parking brake on you have stopped all the movement in the rear end

- I would think your problem isn't the half shafts at all. They are almost indestuctible in the C series axle. First, with the handbrake on, both drums should be locked. Obviously the right one is loc

- Hey Paul, Check your bolts holding the rear shocks on. I had a clunk that drove me insane for months and I finally found out a shock was a little lose. All is well now. Good luck, Scott Willis Mashed
