Joe, The way most sending units work is there is a small compartment on top of the sending unit that houses a variable resistor. The wiper are that runs along the resistor goes to a pin (flucrum). On

The only comments I can make is that in '81? a Ga. State Patrol radar trap got me at 115 when the speedo indicated 120. He liked the car and wrote it up as 70 in a 55 zone. No mention was made of any
