The 1982/92 Camero T-5 is a direct bolt up to a 215 4-speed bellhousing. Use a 10.5" clutch for a Chevy S-10 pickup w/ T-5 & a McCleod hydraulic throw out bearing for a no hassle set up. This is what

As far as I can tell, all T-5's were aluminum cased. There is an excellent article on them in the V-8 Newsletter, issue IV Vol 1. All GM T-5's seem to have the same gear ratios, 1-4, with optional .

On the MGB V-8 BBS a few months ago on the same (T-5) issue, a rather authoritative sounding posting quoted at least three different gearing setups for GM T-5's, and also specified the torque ratings

The T56 is used in the Camaro, Firebird, and Viper. ZF supplied the 6 speed for the the C4 Corvette. I think the new C5 'Vette uses a rear mounted transaxle but I don't know who it's sourced from. Is
